A great champion cyclist and winner of the Tour de France has died at the age of 34 years old. Pantani was found dead in his hotel room. An autopsy will be performed Monday. Pantani after winning the tour was involved in many doping allegations and last year was treated for depression and drug addiction. Here was a man that tastes both the highs and lows of life. As cyclists, we should mourn his passing.
