The mission of the CCC is to promote interest and involvement in all aspects of bicycling, focusing on three main areas: recreational riding, racing, and advocacy. To fulfill its mission, the CCC will:
  1. Schedule recreational group riding opportunities for further development of individual cycling skills, to institute safe riding habits, and to build camaraderie among members.
  2. Provide a club for racing opportunities under the United States Cycling Federation (USCF), including development and support for junior racing.
  3. Advocate safe and improved road conditions for cycling and participate in community issues involving cycling.
  4. Provide bicycle skill education to members, community youth, and the public at large including road safety, bicycle maintenance and emergency repair; and the use of bicycles as an energy efficient, healthful mode of personal transportation.
  5. Provide information to members regarding activities, events, advocacy issues, and other club business, through a variety of media, including, but not limited to: emails, letters, newsletters, and a web site.
  6. Perform such other services and programs as to foster greater use of bicycles.
