The mission of the CCC is to promote interest and involvement in all aspects of bicycling, focusing on three main areas: recreational riding, racing, and advocacy. To fulfill its mission, the CCC will:
- Schedule recreational group riding opportunities for further development of individual cycling skills, to institute safe riding habits, and to build camaraderie among members.
- Provide a club for racing opportunities under the United States Cycling Federation (USCF), including development and support for junior racing.
- Advocate safe and improved road conditions for cycling and participate in community issues involving cycling.
- Provide bicycle skill education to members, community youth, and the public at large including road safety, bicycle maintenance and emergency repair; and the use of bicycles as an energy efficient, healthful mode of personal transportation.
- Provide information to members regarding activities, events, advocacy issues, and other club business, through a variety of media, including, but not limited to: emails, letters, newsletters, and a web site.
- Perform such other services and programs as to foster greater use of bicycles.
